We currently have 2 poker games running each week. Every Sunday we play in the Redtooth Poker Leage, a national pub leage. We also run a few tables on Tuesday nights, including a novice table for those looking to learn to play.

Redtooth Poker

Redtooth poker is a free to play Texas Hold ‘Em pub poker tournamentheld on the same night each week in your local pub starting at 8pm.

You begin each game with 2000 chips and get and additional 1,500 after the break at 9pm

The blinds will increase throughout the game to ensure the tournament finishes around 11pm

At the end of the night, each player is awarded point based on the their finishing position

Each pub league runs for 13 weeks, at the end of that period the top two players automatically qualify for your nearest regional final and the third player to go through is decided in a playoff game held on an alternative night between players who finished 3rd – 10th place.

The next season then starts the following week. There are four seasons each year.

The annual cash prize pool for the tournament is £53,050.

There are 12 quarterly regional finals each year throughout the UK where three players from each outlet compete against players from other local participating pubs to play for the title of regional champion.

Regional finals are held a few weeks after the end of the season on a Sunday afternoon in the selected venues

Each event is supervised by members of the Redtooth Poker team to ensure the smooth running of the tournament. The tournament ‘clock’ and other information are displayed on big screens in the venue.

The event begins with player registration followed by a presentation ceremony where pub champions recieve thier glass trophy and certificate. At the mid-session interval a free buffet is provided for players and their guests.

Players are randomly seated and the game begins. A blind structure designed specifically for the regional finals has been developed by Redtooth Tournament Directors which differs to that used in pub tournaments ensuring that the regional final will last between four and five hours.

Top players from the regional finals will qualify for the national final

The regional winner will recieve a large glass trophy and £500 in cash from the prize pool of £1000.

The National Final is the culmination of a twelve month search to find the UK Pub Poker Champion^TM. 400 of the top pub poker players from the tens of thousands competing in the Redtooth Poker League up and down the country will qualify for this prestigious event and a share of the £5,050 cash prize pool for the final table.

Dusk till Dawn in Nottingham, Europe’s premier poker venue, is the setting for the national final of the Redtooth Poker League. As the UK’s first purpose built poker venue, it is the poker player’s equivalent of playing football at Wembley or tennis at Wimbledon. The state of the art facilities include a poker room with 45 dealer dealt tables with a capacity to seat over 400 players, a fully licensed bar, a restaurant, 24 plasma screens and a VIP area.

The day begins at 12 o’ clock with players and their guests arriving at the venue. There is a champagne reception and a buffet is served on arrival. Players have the opportunity to meet our celebrity guests, who are all poker entusiats, and have their photograph taken and ask for autographs.

The winner on the day will have the honour of being crowned UK Pub Poker Champion^TM. with the media attention that comes with victory.
